Meet the Owner

Joshua Nix
From the small town of Hampton, Arkansas, Josh began his surveying career straight out of high school in 2002.  While obtaining his Land Surveying Degree at the University of Arkansas Monticello, he worked under other professional surveyors, gaining experience and training to put him on the right path.  The road to becoming a licensed surveyor was a six-year journey including college education and required advancement to the position of crew chief in responsible control, for a minimum of two years ,before being allowed to sit in on a professional licensure exam.  In 2008, Josh opened Nix Land Surveying and continues to run it today.  Along with his Land Surveying Degree and experience, Josh also continued his education obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and a Masters in Operations Management.
